Mr. Simon Stephen Mulingwa Mseka

Mr. S. S .M.Mseka spearheads and co-ordinates the daily Administration of BUMIRA activities. He has International-wide expertise in the development, implementation and auditing of Environmental Management system requirements and other related aspects.
He has over twenty years experience in Environmental Management Systems and over twenty four years’ experience in the Mining and Metallurgical activities. His expertise includes:
- Lead auditor in Environmental Management Systems based on ISO 14001 Standard requirements;
- Impartiality Auditing Committee Deputy Chairperson and Member of Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ);
- A Member of Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) Technical Committee on ISO 14001 Standard and Quality Management;
- A Member of Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) Technical Committee on Corporate Governance, Environmental Quality Management Systems;
- Chairman of Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) Technical Committee on Hazardous Waste Management;
- Committee Member for the Business Council for Sustainable Development Zimbabwe (BCSDZ) previously Environmental Forum of Zimbabwe;
- Chairman of the BCSDZ Water Technical Committee;
- Chairman BCSDZ Bulawayo Branch in Zimbabwe;
- Former Liaison Board Member at Zimbabwe’s National University of Science and Technology (NUST) on Environment and Occupational Health;
- Former Councillor in the Mazowe Catchment Council under Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA), Ministry of Water, representing BNC and the Mining Industry since 1999.
